- Ayurvedic Nutrition - Ayurveda has been practiced in India to promote wellness for over 5000 years. It grew out of the Hindu scriptures, called the Vedas. Ayurveda is centered around three doshas, or energies, known as vata, pitta and kapha. Each person is considered to have their own unique mix of these doshas, which impact physical, mental and spiritual health. It offers a 'whole person' approach to nourishment by considering the physical, mental, emotional and energetic aspects of each individual.

You've likely heard our skin is the largest organ of the body. Each season presents different challenges to care for its vitality. This is especially true as we mature. I've experienced this first-hand on several levels, most recently, "overwintering" in the desert near Palm Springs.
